If I could use one word to describe what it is like to take pictures of the sweetest little babes: INCREDIBLE.

There is something so special to being one of the first ones to help welcome a baby into the world by capturing the sweetest first moments of their lives.

Babies represent a new beginning. A missing piece to the family. A great new addition. A love you did not know was there until they arrived. Babies make life sweet.

One of my favorite things to capture with newborn sessions is the moments between the new baby, the mother, and the father. The special bond they share. The miracle they just created. The family they started. This moment captures not only the newborn but all of the magic of love that is radiating off of the parents.

I like to make sure the baby is nice and comfortable before we begin the session, so here are some helpful tips to get you ready for your newborn session! Set the temperature at a nice warm setting. This ensure the baby is warm and snuggly. Make sure your baby is well fed and will not get the hangry cries during the shoot! Put their outfit on and put on a new diaper before I get there to make sure all fussiness is out of the way! These are just some help tricks to make the shoot go smoothly!

Babies are a wonderful gift that I hope I get to capture and cherish for all of my days to come. This in fact includes my own babe who is growing entirely way too fast.
