In my opinion, one of the most romantic and elegant spots near Springfield, Missouri to get married is Finley Farms wedding venue. I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph a few weddings at Finley Farms which is much more than just a wedding venue. But when you are there getting married, you still feel like the place is just for you.
The anchor of Finley Farms is the restoration of the Ozark Mill which now functions as a restaurant that is open to the public. The Workshop is a coffee shop by day and an event space by night. The Farm supports the on-site restaurant with seasonal produce and materials for workshops. The Farm is also a beautiful backdrop for small events and elopements.
The Workshop and The Farm are just two of the many spaces that Finley Farms offers for your wedding. The Chapel, The Marley House, Riverside Bridge, The Riverside Room, The Hawkins Room, The Garrison, and The Market Shed are all available to make your wedding dreams come true.
Whether you want to have a large or small wedding, Finley Farms wedding venue has options for you. No two weddings I’ve photographed there have felt the same, but each couple has been over the moon about their experience. I’m excited to show you all the possibilities
The open-air Chapel overlooks the Finley River. It is modeled after historic chapels in the Ozarks and is built from reclaimed materials. The occupancy of The Chapel is 130.
It is an absolutely beautiful and serene spot to get married!
Nature is the perfect backdrop, of course, but the chapel itself has great light and beautiful textures. The grounds are impeccable and everything photographs beautifully.
Getting ready spaces are equally elegant at Finley Farms wedding venue. The suites are spacious and well-appointed so that you, your wedding party, and your family are comfortable on the big day.
You can see that I am a fan of shadows and light. I love a dark, moody, and elegant moment and Finley Farms wedding venue serves that up in several areas. This isn’t a bright, light and white wedding venue option, but there are plenty of those in the area. Everyone’s vision is different and they can all be beautiful!
The Riverside Bridge was originally built in 1909 and is a versatile space at Finley Farms wedding venue. The bridge allows wedding parties to pass from The Chapel to The Ozark Mill on foot, but it can also serve as a one-of-a-kind space for intimate dinners, cocktail hours, and receptions.
There are dedicated spaces for live entertainment, a bar, and lighting. Finley Farms has thought of everything. Occupancy for the Riverside Bride tops out at 100 so this is a better choice for a smaller wedding. You and your closest friends and family can eat, drink, be merry, and dance the night away with the Finley River flowing right beneath you.
If you are considering a wedding at Finley Farms wedding venue, I hope these photos have helped to show you what is possible for your own wedding.
