Where are my foodies at??

I am mixing things up a little bit.

If you do not know by now, I love food. All food. I am not picky. So when an opportunity presented itself to take pictures of food, I WAS ALL IN!

This is not your typical senior, wedding, family session blog. This is your mouth watering, need to get food in my system ASAP blog post.

My good friends over at Jude’s Coffee Company asked me to photograph their new bistro food and let me tell you – go get your hands on the food. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

Styling food is nothing like styling people, obviously, however, it is just as fun.

When taking pictures of food, there needs to be a few things:

1. Good Lighting: make sure every inch of that plate looks the way it is suppose to look.
2. All colors: no one wants to look at a plate full of food with no color.
3. The right angles: I am talking from bird’s eye, from the ground, from left to right. Give me all the angles.
4. Last but not least, another set of hands to make some cool tricks you have up your sleeve happen.

Food is my love language, and I will stand by that forever.
