The Bartholomew’s

Families are a special kind of session that brings so much uncertainty, yet so much excitement. I never know what I might get with families, and that is the fun in it all. My favorite part is to see the families arrive in their matching outfits or matching color outfits. Families spend so much time deciding exactly what to wear because these pictures are important to them. These pictures mean something. They are a tangible memory of the good times they had. They show the completeness of family. 

The Bartholomew’s were no exception. I loved capturing every moment of their beautiful family. Let me start by saying their outfits perfectly matched the scene/background/style of the pictures. I took their pictures on their farm, and it was so worth it. Between the land, the sunset, and the family the pictures turned out better than I could have imagined.

This family was so much fun to work with. The kids are great and the camera loved them. They are spunky and fun with a mixture of kindness and gentleness. They get along so well and the pictures show that. Mom & Dad are not far from that either. You can see the love they have for each other and their sweet kiddos. The session was full of laughs and smiles that could warm up any room.

I could go on and on about this family or just family sessions in general, but I will leave you with this… sometimes all it takes is a little hand reaching for you, to remind you that these are, without a doubt, the best years of your life.
