Weddings.
I could think of a million different reasons as to why I love shooting weddings. One being that I get to capture one of the greatest moments of a couple’s life. Witness the individual personalities both together and not. Take in the creative detail of each couple with their venue, flowers, dress, and so much more. Weddings to me are so much more than just showing up and taking pictures.
Mr. & Mrs. Hatcher
The celebration of Mr. & Mrs. Hatcher was one for the books. They were married at Hotel Vandivort in Springfield, Missouri. Every inch of this place was classic and timeless, not to mention, the beautiful people I got to take pictures of. The venue completely matched the couple’s style. Mrs. Hatcher wore a classic, semi off the shoulder gown that made her look exquisite. The groom wore a light blue tuxedo that matched the room.
I Do.
The ceremony was a sweet and intimate gathering with all of their favorite people. Will & Lacey went with an industrial theme with hints of white and greenery. Again, classic & timeless. No bridesmaids, No groomsman, just them with their love. But man, did they throw a great party. There was dancing, music, food, and some bomb drinks. They were surrounded by the people that loved them most, and that was the most important thing to them. There was cake smearing, first dances, funny speeches – all of the best parts of a wedding. This venue and these people were incredible to work with. I count it a blessing that they chose me. Here’s to happily ever after, Mr. & Mrs. Hatcher with their cats.
With love and warmth,
Bailey
